David was born in Thomson, Georgia where his love of the outdoors grew through Boy Scouts. His enjoyment of the water came naturally, spending each summer playing and working at ClarkHill Lake.
After attending the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia, David moved to Savannah, Georgia where his family roots were established along the Savannah River in 1734 and continue to the present. He felt honored and privileged to practice medicine in Savannah until 2005, delivering thousands of babies. His love of real estate began with his own investment in a home on the river where he and his wife Kelly still live. In addition, David found that his financial investments in real estate, particularly waterfront and marsh front homes and land in the Low Country were a perfect fit for his short and long term financial plans.
David feels his experience gives him a unique advantage both personally and professionally in finding the perfect water or marsh front property for his buyers and locating for his sellers the right individuals desiring the life style and investment the water offers.
